What I offer

I provide face-to-face counselling for individuals. I will provide you with a safe and non-judgmental environment in which you're able to talk. I'll give you time and space away from the pressures of day-to-day life and the opinions of others. Over time, I hope you'll get to know yourself better, think about aspects of your life and relationships that you want to change, and to find the right way forward for you, however stuck or unhappy you may have felt at the start.


I see most clients once a week for 50 minutes, at a regular time on the same day of the week. Counselling can be for an agreed number of weeks or months, or open-ended.

What it costs

I charge £50 for each 50 minute session.


Where we'll meet

My therapy room in Newbury is just two minutes from the station and with parking available nearby. It's part of Bramham Therapy, a group of professionally qualified therapists working together.

My therapy room in Milton is part of a The Park Counselling and Wellbeing, a wellbeing practice based in Milton Park.

Your first session

At your first session, I'll ask a few questions to find out a little about you and what brings you to counselling. You can ask me any questions you have too. Together, we'll decide whether or not there's a good fit and whether you'd like to start regular sessions or not. There's no commitment.

My approach

I'll invite you to talk about anything you want to, and I'll ensure you set the pace for how far and how fast we go in exploring your feelings. My role is to listen and help you reflect, without being judgemental. The counselling approach I take is psychodynamic, which means I'll sometimes help you think about early life experiences and how they might contribute to your experience of the world now.
